FNQ Indigenous Deadly Dayz – hosted by Pullman Cairns International
What better way to end 2016 then with the celebration of indigenous success held in the tropical heart of Cairns with the AccorHotels FNQ Indigenous Deadly Dayz.
A special thank you to Paul Morton and the team from Pullman Cairns International for their collaboration of hospitality in delivering the AccorHotels FNQ Indigenous Deadly Dayz Event.
Accor Hotels would like to extend our appreciation to our guests William Enoch-Tranby from the CaPTA Group, Mark Beecroft, Kerry Williams and Nathan Jawai from Cairns Taipans for showing face and adding value on the day.
Same respect goes to, Vanessa Gillen (General Manager of CIAF) and Bernie Heard (General Manager of the Gondwana Indigenous Choir), thank you for blessing us with your presence.
Also a special mention to Associate Professor from CQ University, Henrietta Marrie for her warm Welcome to Country and inspirational speech to the Accor Hotels indigenous employees of FNQ.
Thanking Executive Chef Matt Lonne for preparing a delicious indigenous inspired lunch on such a short notice, the food was delightful with the main being a shared plate of Charred Kangaroo loin, Native pepper crumb, beef jus, Mud crab Barramundi & finger lime spring roll, mango chilli sauce & coastal succulents.
And for desert, Native Thyme & macadamia praline mousse, Bonjee tamerind & wild rosella compote, mungalli double cream.
As we know, the heart of the event was to recognize indigenous success, many thanks to all who were nominated, your dedication is very much appreciated.
An outstanding acknowledgment to our official award winners:

Last but not least, without the hard work and commitment of all our General Managers, Talent Teams and indigenous employees based in far north Queensland, AccorHotels would not have been able to deliver such a spectacular event.
We sincerely thank you for your ongoing efforts and we look forward to the continuation of celebrating indigenous success.
